Link Items to a Drawing (iOS)

Objective

To link items to drawings on the Procore iOS app.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the Drawings tool.
    Note: You must have access to the tool that you want to link an item from. 

Steps

1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
2. Tap the project's Drawings tool.
3. Tap the drawing you want to add an item to.
4. Tap the Cloud / Arrow OR Square / Circle icons in the drawing markup toolbar. See Markup a Drawing (iOS).
5. Draw the shape or arrow on the drawing.
6. Tap Link.
7. Select the type of item you want to link:
   • RFI
   • Submittal
   • Document
   • Observation
   • Inspection
   • Correspondence Item
   • Coordination Issue
8. Select an item from the list to add to the drawing.
   Tip! Certain tools (such as RFIs and Coordination Issues) allow you to create a new item to link to the markup by tapping the plus  icon at the top of the list. 
9. Tap outside of the markup to automatically save changes. 
10. If you want to publish the markup for others to see on the drawing, select the markup and tap Publish. See Publish Personal Drawing Markups (iOS).
