Link Observations to a Drawing (iOS)

Objective

To add observations to a drawing on the Procore iOS app.

Things to Consider 

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Drawings AND Observations tools.

Steps

1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
2. Tap the project's Drawings tool.
3. Tap the drawing that you want to add an observation to.
4. In the markup toolbar, tap the shape or line that you want to add to the drawing. See Mark up a Drawing (iOS).
   Note: This markup will be associated with the new observation.
5. Tap Link.
6. Tap Link an Observation. 
7. Choose one of the following options:
   • Link an Existing Observation:
     1. Tap to select an existing observation item to add to the markup.
   • Create a new Observation:
     1. Tap   to create a new observation.
     2. Tap to select an existing template, or tap + Create Without Template.
     3. Complete the necessary information.
     4. Tap Save to add the new item to the markup.
8. To publish your changes, tap the markup, then tap Publish.
