Create Items from Photos (iOS)

Objective

To create items in other project tools from a photo on an iOS mobile device.

Required User Permissions:
- 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Photos AND the tool where you are creating the item.
Additional Information:
- You can create items for the following tools: Daily Log, Change Events, Correspondence, Incidents, Observations, Punch List, RFI, T&M Tickets, and Tasks.

You can create an item from:

Navigate to the project's Photos tool in the Procore app using an iOS mobile device.
Tap the Tools screen, tap the Create icon.
Tap Take Photo.
Tap the shutter to take a photo.
Tap the photo thumbnail to open the recent photos tray.
Tap Select.
Select the photos you are creating an item from.
Tap the Create Item icon.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.
- Change Event
- Correspondence Item
- Daily Log Entry
- Incident
- Observation
- Punch List Item
- RFI
- T&M Ticket
- Task
Tap Save or Create.

Navigate to the project's Photos tool in the Procore app using an iOS mobile device.
Optional: Tap the ellipsis and select the Timeline , Albums, or Map view to change your view.
Note: In the Album view, you can select multiple photos by tapping the album that contains the photos, then tapping Select OR you can select a single photo from the Feed , Timeline , and Map views.
Tap the photo you are creating an item for.
Tap Create Item.
Select the item you want to create.
Note: 'Standard' level permission is required on the tool where you are creating an item.
Fill out the necessary fields for the item you are creating.
Tap Save or Create.
