Add a Related Item to a Submittal Package

Objective

To associate related items to a submittal package in the Project level Submittals tool.

Background

When approvers review a submittal package, you might want to provide them with helpful information like change orders, documents, or drawings to help them make informed decisions.  

In the Submittals tool, you can add related items to your submittal packages. This helps you keep the information associated with your submittal package organized. 

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate the project's Submittals tool.
  2. Click Packages.
  3. Locate the desired submittal package and click View.
  4. Click the Related Items tab. 
  5. Click Link Related Item.
  6. Select the type of item you want to add fro the list. For example, if you want to add a bid sheet, select Bid. The selections available in this list will depend upon which Procore tools are active on the project. 
  7. Select the item you want to add from the list.
  8. Enter any notes you might like to add in the Notes field.
  9. Click Link.
